MAVONNY.ART: LATEST EXHIBITION OCTOBER 2020

Mavonny Reith has always been inspired by the textures, colours and patterns of nature. In her first exhibition, an oil on canvas collection, she captures the abstract coloured patterns of the Western Australian landscape from an aerial perspective.

Mavonny grew up in the Wheatbelt town of Kalannie, the first child in the third generation of a farming family. At 16, she took to the sky for the first time in her dad’s Cessna 210. Time spent flying over the Kimberley with its big blue skies, red pindan, turquoise waters, and peachy pink cream and sandy beaches permeated her very being, and she made a pledge to her adolescent self that one day she would have her own art exhibition that would capture the essence of Western Australia.

The result was ‘Natures palette: a view from above WA’.

The exhibition was held at Kidogo Art House in Fremantle, WA from Thursday 8th of October 2020 until Wednesday 14th.

Original artworks were available for purchase.
